Arrivals: Oakland International Airport Shuttle - August 8
Shuttle service for incoming tournament guests (players, their coaches and families, college coaches) will be provided from Oakland International Airport to the Berkeley Tennis Club and the adjacent Claremont Resort & Spa on Saturday, August 8th.  Tournament shuttle service is NOT available from any other area airport - see Other Airport Transportation below for alternative options if you are not flying into Oakland International Airport.  

Transportation must be requested in advance by contacting Transportation Chairman, José Katz: jekatz@ieee.org or (510) 575-6599 .  When contacting José, please provide the following information:
• Airline and flight number
• Scheduled time of arrival
• Cell phone number at which you can be reached once you land in Oakland
• Number in your party
• Information to identify yourself (a description of you or your luggage).

Volunteer drivers will meet tournament guests at the baggage claim area or directly outside baggage claim at the curb and can be identified by their official tournament shirts.  Tournament Guests who leave the baggage claim area will not be guaranteed the transportation they requested.

Note that Registration for the tournament ends at 3:30 pm (including Doubles Registration, which is required).  If you will not be arriving at the Berkeley Tennis Club prior to 3:30 pm, click here to go to the Tournament Information page to read the process for properly notifying the tournament.

Tournament Shuttle to Offsite and Practice Courts
The tournament will be using 6 courts at UC Berkeley on Tuesday, August 11th.  Additionally, courts at UC Berkeley and additional sites will be used for practice throughout the tournament week.  Transportation will be provided for tournament guests as follows:
• Players who have scheduled matches at the offsite are given first priority on the tournament shuttle.
• Shuttles will be departing approximately every half hour from Berkeley Tennis Club and UC Berkeley.  Check at the Transportation Desk for departure times.
• Shuttles to additional practice court sites will be scheduled as needed.

Departures: Oakland International Airport Tournament Shuttle
Shuttle service for outgoing tournament guests will be provided from the Berkeley Tennis Club and the adjacent Claremont Resort & Spa to the Oakland International Airport.  Transportation must be requested in advance at the Information Desk in the Tournament Headquarters' room at Berkeley Tennis Club and no later than 4:00 pm the night before departure.

Other Airport Transportation
The tournament only provides airport transportation to and from the Oakland International Airport.  Tournament guests arriving into or departing out of another airport must make their own transportation arrangements.

BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) provides transportation to and from San Francisco Airport and Oakland.  The Rockridge Station exit is not too far from the Berkeley Tennis Club/Claremont Hotel and taxis are usually available.  Click here to be taken to the BART website that provides schedules - www.bart.gov.
