I keep working at my game so I can continue to improve and become the best player that I can possibly be. Tennis accomplishments of family members: My mom, Angie, has played tennis basically her whole life at various levels. She used to always play with me, but ever since I starting beating her, she doesn't want to play anymore! Tennis goals: My personal goals in tennis are to reach my full potential and to be a major contributing factor to my teams success. Tennis accomplishments: My major accomplishments to date in tennis are winning the 2007 Peach State Junior Classic, the 2007 Southern Open, and the 2006 Southern Open doubles tournament. Challenges in tennis: My greatest challenge in tennis has been maintaining my level of play after taking six months off for basketball. Inspirational person: My mom and my first tennis coach have always been major inspirations in my life. Interesting places traveled to: The only really interesting places that I have been to are the Bahamas and Mexico on a Caribbean cruise. Funniest tennis experience: My funniest tennis experience was three or four years ago when I swung pretty vicously at an overhead and the ball got stuck in the throat of my racquet. I could not stop laughing for some reason after that! Interesting fact: I also play high school basketball. I have been the starting point guard for our team since I was a freshman. Honors: I was awarded a Georgia Certificate of Merit, am a scholar athlete and a member of the National Latin Honor Society, and was voted the Gwinnett Daily Post and Atlanta Journal Constitution Player of the Year award. Hobbies: I love to spend time with friends and family, play ping pond and guitar hero, and go white water rafting!
