2009 Tournament Players

Up to date player lists can be found at the tournament’s USTA TennisLink Home Page. Below is a description of the various lists you will find at that website:

Applicant List (see left navigation bar on USTA TennisLink Home Page for link):  This is a list of Applicants into the tournament - players who have registered either by using the TennisLink registration system, or who have contacted the Tournament to enter by paper application.  It is important for you to check to make sure your name appears on this list.  Only players who have registered are eligible for selection.  This list becomes obsolete once entries close.

Competitor List (see left navigation bar on USTA TennisLink Home Page for link):  This is a list of the players who have been selected for the tournament.  This list will not be posted until after tournament selection is done.  The list will be updated as Wild Cards are selected, players withdraw, and alternates are accepted to replace them.

Alternate List (see link above the Notes area, about mid-way down the USTA TennisLink Home Page):  This is a list of the alternates for the tournament.  Names are listed in order of their appearance on the National Standings List used to select players into the tournament.  Click here to go to the Tournament Information page to read more detailed information about how alternates replace players who withdraw from the tournament.
