The official parking area for The Nationals is in the Longs/Bamboola
parking lot located across the front entrance to the club on Camden
Avenue. Visitors are
asked to park in the area located in the lot in front of the business
called Bamboola. Visitors
must cross Camden Avenue at the cross walk located at the corner of
Camden Avenue and Kooser Road. A
detailed map of parking options will be provided to all players at
registration. Directions from San Jose International Airport to AVAC.
When leaving either Terminal A or C, take Airport Boulevard
south around the airport. At
the light, make a left onto Coleman Avenue and merge right to enter
Interstate 880 South towards Santa Cruz. The freeway signs are marked to show the freeway entrance.
Stay on I880 for approximately 8 miles. Take Interstate 85 South
towards Gilroy/Morgan Hill. After approximately 1/2 mile a you
will see AVAC on your left. The official parking lot for the
tournament is located across from AVAC on Camden Avenue - the Longs/Bamboola
parking lot. Please see
Parking at AVAC above for parking instructions. Turn right into the Longs/Bamboola lot from Camden Avenue. General Information about AVAC for Tournament Participants. Restrooms, showers and a Jacuzzi
are located in each of the adult locker rooms inside the main
building. Restrooms with
one shower are also in the junior locker rooms located off the pool
deck. Towels and lockers may be obtained at the front desk by leaving
a driver’s license, USTA card or photo ID. The cost per towel is $.75. No pets are permitted at Almaden
Valley Athletic Club. No
smoking is allowed on club property. A public telephone is located in the lobby by the front door. |
